Nottingham Forest have certainly made a strong claim for promotion to the Premier League this season, and many supporters will be confident that their side can build on some impressive recent results.

Aitor Karanka's side are just a point adrift of a play-off position and they remain well in the hunt for promotion heading into the international break.

The Reds were forced to settle for a point at the weekend against a Stoke City side that had Jack Butland to thank after a number of impressive saves kept Forest at bay.

The result meant that Forest are now four games unbeaten in the Championship, which includes taking points off promotion rivals, Sheffield United and Leeds.

Karanka's side travel to face relegation threatened Hull City who are starting to show some resilience in recent weeks, so it's likely to be a closely-fought encounter after the international break.

There will be two issues in particular that Aitor Karanka will be looking to fix in the near future though.

Find out what they are, here.....

There's no doubt who the form men for Nottingham Forest have been this season.

The contributions from Joe Lolley and Lewis Grabban are then main reason as to why the Reds are challenging for promotion this season.

The pair have 15 goals between them, and Karanka will be hoping that the rest of his Forest squad can step up and make a valuable contribution to the team's success as they are heavily reliant on the pair so far this season.

It's fair to say that the creative midfielder arrived with a huge weight of expectation on his shoulders after signing for Karanka's side on loan from Benfica.

But Dias will need to step up and prove himself, because if he can, then the youngster can play a significant part in their promotion push this season.

He has only scored once for Forest this season in nine starts, which will be hugely disappointing for Karanka and the club's supporters.
