Nottingham Forest have been rather busy in recent months reassembling their side and it seems as though Aitor Karanka is still confident of bringing at least one more in.

The Reds have signed well into double figures in terms of the number of players to come in and it has been tough to get them to gel.

The win over Sheffield Wednesday looked promising, but Karanka still has plans for one more.

Indeed, as quoted by the Nottingham Post, he has revealed he thinks that Karim Ansarifard will arrive at the City Ground sooner or later.

He said:

“I know the club are trying their best with this.

“As soon as he can arrive, it will be perfect. And I am sure he will arrive, because the club have been working very well.”

Right now, Lewis Grabban is the main forward at the club and he finally got off the mark earlier this week against the Owls.

Daryl Murphy and Hillal Soudani appear the supporting acts, meanwhile, and that and Ansarifard will have to battle it out to oust Grabban from the side.

The Verdict

Forest have signed a lot of players these past few weeks and months and keeping them all happy is going to be a real challenge.

Ansarifard is the latest to come in, then, and surely that'll be it for arrivals until January.

Then again, we've probably said and thought that before of late.
