Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has recently been awarded with the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month for November.

The 29-year-old netted a stunning effort from distance against Middlesbrough which saw him pick up the award, in a game which Leeds ran out comfortable 4-0 winners at Elland Road.

Klich's Leeds team-mate Kalvin Phillips reacted to the Polish international's latest award, and certainly wasn't allowing Klich to take all of the credit for the goal.

The pair will be hoping they can get get back to winning ways this weekend when Leeds travel to Craven Cottage to take on promotion-chasing Fulham.

Scott Parker's side haven't been at their best this season, and are currently sat sixth in the Championship table heading into the game on Saturday.

Leeds will be keen to avoid defeat in the game though, as they look to make it 12 games unbeaten heading towards the New Year, where they'll be looking to win a long-awaited promotion into the Premier League.

The Whites are currently sat second in the second tier standings, and are ten points clear of third-placed Preston North End, which will be a gap that they'll be keen to extend as the season progresses.

The Verdict:

If Phillips deserves any credit for Klich's stunning strike, then it's minimal credit!

Klich's goal was a worthy winner of the award, and he'll be hoping to build on some impressive performances as Leeds continue their bid for promotion into the Premier League this term.

I can't see many teams standing in Leeds' way either, and promotion is their for the taking for them and West Brom judging by the first-half of this year's campaign.
