Barnsley kept up the pressure on league-leaders, Luton Town in League One as they ran out narrow, 2-1 winners over Shrewsbury Town on Good Friday.

One man that stood out in the win for the Tykes was Alex Mowatt, who netted a stunning strike in the first-half to give Daniel Stendel's side the lead on the day.

Mowatt took to Instagram following the win and was evidently pleased with his goal to set the promotion-chasing side on their way to a hard-fought win.

Former Leeds United team-mate, Kalvin Phillips responded to Mowatt's latest social media post, with both players now chasing promotion with their teams this season.

Phillips will be hoping that he and his Leeds team-mates can force themselves back into the top two before the season reaches a conclusion in May.

The Whites are currently sat 3rd in the Championship table and will be keen to see Sheffield United slip up at the earliest of opportunities to help aid their bid for promotion with the Blades currently sat 2nd in the table on goal difference.
