Leeds United defender Ben White has had an excellent start to the season on the pitch but it appears the 21-year-old has talents outside of his ability at centre-back.

A video has surfaced on

/?hl=en">Kalvin Phillips’ Instagram story of White belting out the words to a Lewis Capaldi song in the car.

The Leeds midfielder appears to have caught his teammate out showing off his singing voice–which to be fair to White is not bad.

The central defender has played every minute of the opening three games of Leeds’ season and has barely put a foot wrong, helping Marcelo Bielsa’s side keep an unbeaten record so far.

The 21-year-old joined on loan from Brighton in the summer and has been given the tough job of filling Pontus Jansson’s shoes.

The Swedish international left the club in July to join Championship rivals Brentford.

White looks set for his next test in a Leeds shirt against Wigan on Saturday.

The Verdict

Most Leeds fans will have been mightily worried when Jansson left the club but White’s performances at the start of the season will likely have eased their fears.

The 21-year-old has looked assured at the heart of the Whites defence and early indications are that his arrival has been a masterstroke.

Phillips’ Instagram story indicates that he is fitting right in with his teammates as well, which should be a huge boost to how he performs on the pitch.
