Leeds United have put themselves in a strong position in the Championship heading into the festive period, which could make or break their promotion bid this term.

The Whites won their last two league games before the international break, which sees them sit third in the league table, just two points adrift of league leaders West Brom.

Marcelo Bielsa's side travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton Town on Saturday, in a game where they'll be expected to pick up another three points to make it three wins on the bounce.

Some of the first team squad have been in training this week, and some seem to be enjoying it more than others.

Leeds' Kalvin Phillips took to Instagram to call out Ben White on his fashion sense, with the defender sporting an 'interesting' hat whilst relaxing at the club's training ground, as well as Phillips not being impressed by White's lack of socks.

White has been hugely impressive since arriving on loan from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, and will be keen to build on this for the remainder of this year's campaign.

The young defender has made 18 appearances in total for the Whites, and has struck up a strong partnership in the heart of the Leeds defence alongside club captain Liam Cooper.

Whilst Phillips has gone from strength to strength in recent seasons, and will be key to their positive showings under Bielsa's guidance as the season progresses.

The pair are almost certainly going to be involved against the Hatters this weekend, as Leeds look to put together a strong run of form.

A win for Leeds could see them move to the top of the Championship table, as they look to make a long-awaited return back into the top-flight.

The Verdict:

He's clearly not impressed!

In all seriousness, both White and Phillips have been some of Leeds' best players this season, and it's important that they maintain their good run of form heading into the festive period, which could turn out to make or break their season.

If they can stay in touch with the automatic promotion places, then I can see Marcelo Bielsa's side finally winning a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.
