Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Edinburgh, has been in charge of Gillingham since February and has won 19 of his 38 games in charge as the Gills currently sit in 3rd place in League One.

The 45-year-old had left Newport County to take the manager's job at the Priestfield Stadium after guiding the Exiles back to the Football League.

Brentford, who finished in the play-offs last season, are currently 11th in the Championship with 21 points from 16 games.
