Sheffield Wednesday continued their positive start under Jos Luhukay with a 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup last night.

The new Owls boss remains undefeated since arriving in England and has managed to change the mood at Hillsborough almost immediately.

Luhukay has also had to contend with a severe injury crisis that has meant he had no choice but to turn to fringe players and younger lads.

However, they have impressed - none more so than Marco Matias. The Portuguese forward joined the club from Nacional in 2015 but has played just over 20 game since, even though injuries have played a part.

Yet, under Luhukay the 28-year old has really shown his talent. A goal against Carlisle in the previous round saw Matias start again last night and he put in a superb performance and contributed with an assist.

The former Portugal U21 international has now given the boss a real headache ahead of the upcoming league fixtures and fans were delighted with his performance last night…
