Luton Town have moved to secure the signature of former Manchester United trainee Ryan Tunnicliffe, as reported by their official Twitter feed.
The 26-year-old joins the Hatters on a free transfer following the completion of his contract with Millwall. He spent two years at the Den, making 22 Championship appearances during their first year back in the second tier.
Last season he played 32 times in all competitions and will add vital Championship experience to the Hatters’ side.
Tunnicliffe began his career at Old Trafford, but after spells with Peterborough, Barnsley and Ipswich on loan, made a permanent move to Fulham. He appeared 65 times for them whilst again going out on loan, this time to Wigan (twice) and Blackburn Rovers.
He received England honours at Under 16 and Under 17 level too and has a total of 160 senior league appearances in the Championship, as well as two Premier League appearances for Fulham.
Many Luton fans are delighted with their latest acquisition, with just as many Millwall fans confused as to how he didn’t secure a new deal at the Den.
Great signing tbf. Dunno how he didn’t get another deal with us. Bossed it in the final 10 games for us

More concerned with the vultures. Justin gone. Stacey not signed and linked to few clubs and saw Collins linked yesterday. Just want window to shut!
