‘Just terrible’ – Some Swansea fans have their say on latest transfer update

Swansea City have confirmed that Alfie Mawson has left the club, with the 24-year-old signing a four-year deal with newly-promoted, Fulham.
The centre-back established himself as a key player for the Swans over the years, playing every minute of the previous campaign.
Whilst it ultimately ended in disappointment with relegation, the 24-year-old was one of few to emerge with any credit from the season, impressing with his defensive ability and composure on the ball.
Therefore, it seemed inevitable that he would leave this summer and the Swans confirmed on their official website that he has secured an immediate return to the top-flight by joining Fulham.

The Welsh side didn’t disclose the fee, however, recent reports suggested he would cost the Cottagers around £15m.
Even though many fans knew this was coming, it has still left a lot of fans disappointed, as they know Mawson has the potential to be a star.
Here’s how they reacted to the news on Twitter…
