Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer is waiting on his backroom staff to agree the terms of their new contracts before he commits his future to the South London outfit, according to South London Press.

Bowyer revealed last week that he is close to putting pen to paper on a new contract with the Addicks after holding talks with the club, but it has now emerged that the 43-year-old has put his deal on hold until two of his staff members have also agreed terms.

Charlton assistant manager Johnnie Jackson and the club's goalkeeping coach Andy Marshall are the two individuals in question, with the duo currently in talks with director of football Steve Gallen ahead of their contract expirations in the summer.

South London Press reporter Richard Cawley took to Twitter to share this development with Charlton fans.
