The early pressure in the Championship appears to have fallen on Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, after his side suffered successive defeats in their opening fixtures.

Last night they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Tony Pulis' Boro side with a tepid display that left fans disappointed and concerned.

The game was wrapped up after 25 minutes, with Martin Braithwaite, Stuart Downing and Aden Flint all on the scoresheet.

The Blades started with David McGoldrick and Leon Clarke up front, the pair having a combined age of 63.

It was the inclusion of the latter, last season's leading scorer, that brought Blades fans to Twitter to vent their fury.

Clarke scored 18 times in 36 competitive matches last season, but a failure to add to his goals seems to have brought the wrath of the fans down on him.

Blades fans vented their anger at a 33-year old leading the line and, on the evidence of last night, not doing it very well.

Here are some of the verdicts on his performance last night....
