Leeds United's season this time around has been a good one regardless of if they win promotion through the play-offs or not.

Marcelo Bielsa has guided a group of players who finished mid-table the previous season to within touching distance of the Premier League, and but for a few nerves and bad results, they could well have been the ones sat in second place ahead of Sheffield United.

Bielsa replaced the sacked Paul Heckingbottom at Elland Road, as the former Barnsley manager lasted only five months in his role in West Yorkshire before the club had seemingly seen enough and parted ways with him in favour of bringing in the experienced Bielsa.

It's safe to say that Heckingbottom's time with the club was not a successful one though, and despite a 2-0 win on the final day of last season, plenty of Leeds fans were still calling for him to be gotten rid of before things got worse.

Those Leeds fans appear to have been proved right in this instance, so we took a look back down memory lane to see just what the Leeds fans had to say about Heckingbottom and the club at this same stage last season...
