Nathan Jones is currently skating on very thin ice at Stoke City after a dismal start to the season, with the pressure beginning to pile on the Welshman.

The Potters succumbed to their seventh league defeat of the campaign on Friday night after losing 3-2 to Nottingham Forest, and they still sit rock-bottom of the league standings following another loss.

Jones is certainly walking the plank at the bet365 Stadium, and having won only four out 33 games in charge since arriving from Luton Town last season, other options are starting to be considered by all accounts.

The Sun now claim that Tony Pulis is set to be offered a chance to take over the Potters for a third time, if they are to part company with Jones.

The 61-year-old has took charge of Stoke twice in his managerial career, guiding them to automatic promotion to the Premier League in 2008 in his second spell with the club.

He also led the Potters to the FA Cup final against Manchester City in 2011, before leaving in 2013 to end his seven-year stay at the bet365 Stadium.

The Welshman has since managed Crystal Palace, West Brom and Middlesbrough, but has been out of work since being sacked by the latter at the end of last season, after failing to guide them into the promotion spots.

Here, we take a look at Stoke fans' reactions to the potential appointment of Pulis...
