‘Just gets worse and worse for them!’ – Many Nottingham Forest fans react to significant Derby County news

Steve McClaren has agreed to become the new Technical Director of Derby County, with the 59-year-old making another return to the Pride Park.
McClaren is no stranger to Derby having managed the club on two separate occasions, between 2013 and 2015 as well as during the 2016/17 campaign.
But the 59-year-old hasn’t returned to the club to become the club’s new manager, despite the Rams still searching for a replacement for Phillip Cocu who was sacked a fortnight ago.
Instead, McClaren has agreed to become Technical Director and act as an advisor to the board, as Sheikh Khaled bin Saqr Zayed al-Nayhan prepares to take over the club.
Some Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to this surprise news, with many poking fun at their arch rivals following another return to the club for McClaren.
McClaren once managed Forest, winning only three out of 13 games in charge during his tenure in 2011.
Here, we take a look at Reds fans’ reactions to the Rams’ latest appointment…
