Given that Portsmouth aren't displaying their best form in the league at present, under pressure Pompey boss Kenny Jackett will no doubt be relishing the prospect of taking on Southampton in tonight's south coast derby, with the fixture providing the former Millwall manager with a big chance to redeem the support he once had from the stands at Fratton Park. 

It has been a rough ride for the ex-Wolves boss so far this season, with his side having picked up just six points from seven league games, with performances such as their 3-3 home draw with nine-man Coventry City drawing large amounts of criticism from the Fratton Park faithful.

And the 57-year-old's situation will not have been helped by their 1-0 defeat on Saturday to Wycombe Wanderers, which left Pompey without a win in their last five league games, a record that doesn't bode well for tonight's game.
