James Milner is a player who has more or less won it all over his career, winning the Premier League with Manchester City and the Champions League with Liverpool - but his career began in Yorkshire with Leeds United.

The Leeds academy product left Leeds in 2003/04, following the clubs relegation from the Premier League and has gone on to have a very successful club career.

Leeds United have aims of returning to the Premier League this term and Milner could well be tempted by a return to the club if they were to finally get back into the top-flight.

Leeds are currently third in the Championship and Bielsa's men are set on righting the wrongs of last season by finally giving the Elland Road faithful  a successful campaign.

Milner's contract will run out this summer at Liverpool and many have drawn the conclusion that a return to Leeds is on the cards, as time continues to pass when Milner hasn't penned a new deal with the European champions the rumours continue to circulate.

Milner doesn't make his love for Leeds and the fanbase a secret. Despite being happy at Liverpool, he can't escape the potential return to Elland Road.

In his new book 'Ask a Footballer: My Guide to Kicking a Ball About' Milner said (quotes sourced from The Express): "To go back and play for my hometown club again would be amazing in so many different ways."

The Leeds faithful have taken to Twitter to react to Milner's comments and speculate about a return for the Leeds lad...
