It was a memorable night for Aston Villa on Tuesday, as a 4-3 penalty shootout win over local rivals West Brom secured their place in the Championship play-off final after a 2-2 draw on aggregate over the two legs.

Two men who played a part in that success were coach John Terry - who played at Wembley for Villa in the play-off final 12 months ago, and on loan leading scorer Tammy Abraham - who scored the winning penalty at The Hawthorns.

With Terry having spent almost all of his career with Chelsea, and Abraham on loan from the same club, the Stamford Bridge side were keen to send their congratulations to the two men via Twitter.

Taking to Twitter to respond to the London side's post, a number of Chelsea fans were keen to encourage the club to give Abraham a chance in Chelsea's own first team next season.

Here are some of the best of those reactions.
