Tony Mowbray has looked to make subtle additions to the current Rovers squad over the summer, without making wholesale changes to the side that finished runners up in League One last season.

Largely focused around attacking midfielder Bradley Dack, the current Rovers team have started the season brightly, with the Englishman netting four times in as many matches in all competitions this season.

Mowbray will be hoping both Dack and his other players can keep playing the high quality football they have been, and keep picking up points throughout the 2018/19 Championship season.

Keeping hold of Bradley Dack, who had received a lot of interest from a number of clubs, could have been the best decision the club made all summer, but we discuss what the worst decision made by Blackburn Rovers over the last three months....

Christian Fuller

The signing of Jack Rodwell.

Whilst the midfielder trained with Premier League side Watford during preseason, the middle man is a bit of a disappointing signing.

Unlikely to start, just a bit pointless.

Alfie Burns

It’s a recent one, but it has to be signing Jack Rodwell.

Honestly, I never thought we’d see him again in English football after an awful spell at Sunderland.

I’d happily be proved wrong, but Blackburn have taken a huge risk here.
