Lincoln City are one of the clubs thought to be interested in Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant, as exclusively revealed by Football League World this morning.

The 24-year-old is being allowed to leave the City Ground on loan once again, after three such spells in the space of two seasons. He spent the 2017/18 season with Notts County, where his impressive form helped them to a play-off spot. They fell in the semi-finals, but he left Meadow Lane with a host of suitors.

That led to a move to Luton Town at the beginning of last season. The Hatters went on to win League One, but Grant only played a minor role. He made 22 appearances, mostly as a sub, scoring four goals.

He returned to Forest in January, only to immediately join teammate Tyler Walker at Mansfield Town. They were pushing for an automatic promotion spot, but Grant's four goals in 18 matches wasn't enough to secure their top three finish.

The former Nike Academy graduate is now looking at another loan spell, with both Lincoln and Oxford thought to be interested.

Imps fans have been reacting to the news, with some worried his nomadic existence of late affects his performances. These fans are split though, with other believing he's a tricky player with a presence behind a main striker.
