Young forward Ben Woodburn has struggled for game time following his loan move from Liverpool to Sheffield United in the Championship.

With only six appearances to his name, that include one start and five from the substitutes bench it is proving difficult for Woodburn to break into Chris Wilder's side.

So has the loan move to the Blades been a mistake?

We discuss.....

Considering the lack of game time you would have to think it has been.

Chris Wilder is liking his experiences striking options and Ben Woodburn has hardly featured.

Now there could be plenty of reasons as to why he has not been able to force his way in the first-team on a regular basis.

One start and five sub appearances show he has not hit the ground running and he will need to do more.

Wilder is not shy in leaving out players who are not impressing him so the Liverpool loanee might need to adapt even quicker to the situation he finds himself in if he wants to be involved more.

Gary Hutchinson

On the face of it, yes.

He’s not getting a kick there and their wing-back system doesn’t suit his wide attacking abilities.

I thought it was a great move at the time, but not anymore.

I wonder if the Blades will get fined.

George Dagless

Jurgen Klopp will be concerned.

Woodburn is a top young player and this was going to potentially be his big season.

He's not really managed to force his way into the Blades' side, though, and it seems likely that he might not play much in the weeks to come as well.
