Sheffield United have already been very active in the transfer market this summer and confirmed the departure of David Brooks over the weekend.

The talented youngster completed a move to Premier League Bournemouth for around £12m and Chris Wilder will hope he can reinvest the money to boost his squad.

Whether he will be able to remains to be seen, as the Blades haven't been big spenders and the manager has often called for more backing.

Either way though, there's no doubt he will be bringing in new faces, with attacking options a priority for the former Oxford boss.

Here we look at three potential signings that could come to Bramall Lane in the coming weeks...

The Peterborough wide man would be a good wing-back option for Wilder and is player who could go on to become a top Championship player.

Wilder is known for targeting quality lower league players and Edwards is one of the better players in his position in League One.

Brooks' departure will have the Blades on the lookout for an attacking midfielder and Chelsea's Palmer would be a great replacement.

He has pace, can dribble and has an eye for a pass. He will be available and has proven himself as a top Championship player with Huddersfield in the past.

Wilder has made no secret of his desire to sign strikers and Gallagher is a target.

The big target man did reasonably well at Birmingham but he still has a lot of potential and could be a star man for Sheffield United next season.
