Birmingham City will be hoping to return to winning ways as they prepare to take on Fulham at St. Andrew’s this weekend.
Pep Clotet’s side have endured a mixed start to the season thus far, and currently sit three points off the play-off places in 12th spot.
After picking up two wins on the spin, Blues would have been hoping to make it three wins in three last weekend, but they were on the wrong end of a 4-2 loss to Cardiff City in South Wales.
The play-off mixer is looking so tight at the moment, and Clotet will be urging his side to find a bit of consistency in their performances.
This weekend, they come up against a Fulham side that have so much firepower in their attacking armory, in the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Anthony Knockaert and Ivan Cavaleiro.
Blues, meanwhile, have found the net just 16 times in 15 games so far this season, and will be looking to score more goals from now on.
Jude Bellingham will be hoping to find the net after going eight games without a goal, but he produced a cheeky finish in training this morning that he posted onto his Instagram story.
The youngster showed real composure and calmness to flick the ball over Connal Trueman and tap into an empty net.
I think Bellingham will be looking to add more goals to his game – that’s the side of his game that is missing at the moment.
But nevertheless, he has been excellent for Birmingham this season, and has shown real maturity and bravery to establish himself as a regular in midfield alongside Ivan Sunjic.
He has a massive future ahead of him, and it’s hard to comprehend that he is only 16 years of age.
Will Birmingham beat Fulham?
