It's safe to say that Jude Bellingham has had an impressive breakthrough season in the Birmingham City first team this term under the management of Pep Clotet.

The attacking midfielder has four goals and three assists in his 35 appearances for the Blues, who have struggled for consistency in their recent results.

It appears as though Bellingham's strong showings on the pitch haven't gone unnoticed though, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United interested in landing his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

Birmingham are currently sat 16th in the second tier standings, and will know that they need to show improvement at the earliest of opportunities.

However, due to recent off-the-field events, fixtures across the country have been temporarily suspended, with no scheduled return date in place as of yet.

Birmingham are without a win in their last six matches, and they were beaten 3-1 in convincing fashion by Reading in their last game before the EFL break.

The Verdict:

He'll be itching to get back playing for the Blues.

Bellingham has been hugely impressive for Birmingham City this season, and he faces an interesting summer ahead of him, with interest from other clubs already being well-publicised.

I would be stunned if he remains with the Blues next season, as he's clearly destined for bigger and better things at a higher level of football.

If his recent showings are anything to go by, then I think he has the potential to go to the very top.
