Aston Villa legend Lee Hendrie has said that Villa boss Steve Bruce 'deserves a lot of credit' after the job he has done at the club.

Bruce has come under major scrunity at Villa Park in recent times, with the vast majoirty of Villa fans wanting him to be relieved of his duties after a dismal start to the campaign, with the West Midlands club lingering in 15th place.

But, former Villa midfielder Hendrie was quick to defend Bruce on TalkSPORT, saying that you have to give the former Hull boss a lot of credit for the job he's done at the club.

"He's done a fantastic job since he's come in," Hendrie said.

"There was a lot that went on at the club beforehand - but he came in and had to reshape the club and get rid of players on high wages.

"On that front, you've got to give him a lot of credit," the 41-year old added.

Villa fans haven't taken lightly to this interview, and here we take a look at the best views on Twitter ahead of tonight's clash with Preston North End at Villa Park...
