Former Reading defender Gabriel Osho has secured himself a move to Championship side Luton Town, according to Royals journalist Jonathan Low.
The deal was rumoured to have been done last month, but no official confirmation came out of either party.
But Low is now reporting that it is a done deal, and the move strengthens the Hatters’ already solid back-line.
Quiz: Did these 17 Luton Town players ever actually score a league goal for the club?
Osho made just seven league appearances for the Royals during his time at the club, after graduating through the academy, making his debut in December 2018.
The 22-year-old spent time on loan at National League side Yeovil Town last season, and after Championship football returned following a break due to COVID-19 he found himself in Reading’s first-team – starting four times at right back.
Done deal – ex #readingfc defender Gabriel Osho finally has a new club – Luton Town. The centre-back was released by Royals at the end of last season and after weeks of talks has now agreed a deal at Kenilworth Road. Good move for him #ltfc

Reading wanted to extend his contract after it had expired at the end of the season, but Osho rejected it and found himself a free agent.
He will be no doubt delighted that he’s managed to find another Championship club – one that has started the new season very well.
It’s unclear where Osho will fit in the pecking order at Kenilworth Road, but this is a solid pick-up for Nathan Jones.
Osho can play both centre-half and right back, and with Jones occasionally employing a back three this season, Luton needed more depth in that position.
It’s hard to see Osho going straight into a starting birth, but he has the potential to be a starter at Championship level for years to come.
