Championship side Birmingham City are set to sign Premier League legend John Terry in a shock move, according to MARCA journalist Jason Pettigrove.
The Blues are reportedly set to make Chelsea captain Terry their third signing of the summer in an incredibly surprising move for the former England international and a real statement of intent from the club.
Terry was expected to make a switch to a fellow Premier League side following his release from Chelsea, with Bournemouth, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion all registering an interest.

Aston Villa and Birmingham were the latest sides to be linked with his name, but surprisingly Harry Redknapp may have managed to convince Terry to join the club who were nearly relegated to League One last season.
The original link emanates out of Italy, with Corriere Dello Sport claiming a deal had been agreed.
Terry clearly still has plenty to offer and this will undoubtedly be noted as one of the biggest signings of the summer. He could be the man to launch Birmingham back into Premier League contention.
