Sheffield United have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their trip to Blackburn Rovers tomorrow evening, however Wilder is considering making changes to the team, according to BBC Sheffield's Andy Giddings.

The Blades are looking to continue a fine start to the season which has seen them lose just once since the opening week in all competitions. This weekend they got the better of Millwall, at the Den, thanks to a late David McGoldrick brace.

Their opponents Blackburn are currently 13th in the division, but are hard to beat having lost just once, two fewer than the Blades. They held Nottingham Forest at Ewood Park at the weekend continuing their unbeaten start to the season at home.

The win at Millwall left the Blades fourth in the table, level on points with Middlesbrough and Leeds above them. Despite not having any concerns over their current squad, Chris Wilder has suggested he may rotate players due to the fixture congestion.

His side face just one more match in the next 18 days, hosting Hull City on Saturday before the international break.

Wilder is still concerned however that his side do not get the same treatment over their scheduling as most of the division, something that may be driving his selection.

The Verdict

When a manager of a Championship side starts talking about resting players when his side only have one game in eighteen days, it doesn't seem right to me.

In League One and Two they play Tuesday / Saturday throughout August and again in October, but there's little concern from the managers. Wilder needs to concentrate on winning games and the positive things his side are doing.

All this fixture congestion talk will only rub people up the wrong way.
