Journalist name-drops in Twitter exchange over potential Bradford boss

Published

on

Bradford City are looking to get themselves out of trouble in the League One relegation battle at the moment with David Hopkin leaving the club earlier this week.

The Bantams lost to an out of form Walsall side at the weekend leaving many to criticise the players and Hopkin to tear his hair out.

Indeed, he decided it would be best to leave the side and move on and now it remains to be seen who exactly is in the frame to try and get them out of trouble.

A few names have been touted around, then, and Alan Nixon has dropped Phil Parkinson’s name into the mix after an exchange with a fan on Twitter:

Whether or not there is much substance behind this remains to be seen but you do feel as though Parkinson would potentially do a good job at the club – if he leaves Bolton.

The Verdict

Bolton and Bradford both have their problems at the moment, would Parkinson want to swap one for another.

Certainly, it seems as though the Yorkshire side has at least cleared things up at boardroom level, maybe that would be enough to persuade him?

We’ll see what develops.
