Leeds United have made contact with Bristol City over the availability of defensive duo, Aden Flint and Joe Bryan, according to Peak FM journalist, Joe Rawson.

Recent reports from Bristol have insisted that Leeds have not made an enquiry about Flint and Bryan, but Rawson has confirmed that there is definite interest in the duo.

A deal between the two clubs is likely to take time, due to their respective pre-season tours.

Leeds and Thomas Christiansen are keen to strengthen their defensive options before the start of the Sky Bet Championship season, and despite the addition of Matthew Pennington on a season-long loan from Everton, another central defender is on the radar, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Flint would fill the void at Elland Road, and the impressive defender would bring further experience to Leeds’ defence, having made 200 appearances for the Robins.

The Whites are also in search of a left-back to replace Charlie Taylor, who has ended his time at Elland Road by moving to Burnley earlier this summer.

Bryan is in-demand this summer, and reports have suggested that Leeds are not the only club interested in signing the talented left-back, with Middlesbrough and Hull City competing with the Whites.
