Josh Lillis signs new two-year contract with Rochdale

Goalkeeper Josh Lillis has extended his stay with Rochdale by signing a new contract with the club.
The 26-year-old, who signed from Scunthorpe in 2012, was set to be out-of-contract in the summer.
He played a key part in Rochdale’s promotion to League One, playing 45 games in League Two last season.
Speaking to Dale’s official website, assistant manager Chris Beech said:“First and
foremost, his contract offer is deserved in terms of what he has done for the Football Club. He was tremendous this season and was a massive cog in the wheel, helping us gain promotion to League One.”“What’s impressed me and Keith this season has been the way he has distributed the ball. Josh has developed a vision, which is benefitting the team as a whole,” he added.
