Goalkeeper Josh Lillis has extended his stay with Rochdale by signing a new contract with the club.
The 26-year-old, who signed from Scunthorpe in 2012, was set to be out-of-contract in the summer.
He played a key part in Rochdale’s promotion to League One, playing 45 games in League Two last season.
Speaking to Dale’s official website, assistant manager Chris Beech said:“First andforemost, his contract offer is deserved in terms of what he has done for the Football Club. He was tremendous this season and was a massive cog in the wheel, helping us gain promotion to League One.”
“What’s impressed me and Keith this season has been the way he has distributed the ball. Josh has developed a vision, which is benefitting the team as a whole,” he added.
