Josh Koroma has insisted that he "will be back soon" as he closes in on a return to first-team action at Huddersfield Town.

Koroma started the season in excellent form, as Carlos Corberan made a promising start to life in charge of the Terriers.

The 22-year-old has made 16 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship this season, scoring six goals and chipping in with two assists.

The forward, though, has been missing since the start of December, sustaining a hamstring injury which has sidelined him for three months.

Corberan also confirmed in his press conference yesterday that Koroma is still a couple of months away from returning.

Fans will be desperate to see Koroma back in action as soon as possible, given the way he started the campaign and proved to be one of their main sources of goal threat going forward.

Taking to Instagram, Koroma has issued an update to fans, insisting he "will be back soon".

The Verdict

It was a real blow for Huddersfield when they lost Koroma, and it was Sod's law given how well he was playing at the start of the season.

Huddersfield haven't really struggled too much since, but Lewis O'Brien has had to move over to the left and they have missed his energy in midfield.

It's positive that we will see Koroma return before the end of the season, but they shouldn't look to rush him back and he should only play when he is ready.
