Huddersfield Town forward Josh Koroma took to his personal Instagram account to celebrate the Terriers’ impressive 3-0 win away at Blackpool on Tuesday night.
Carlos Corberan’s side headed into the game aiming to bounce back from their narrow 2-1 defeat at Stoke City on Saturday that had brought to an end their run of three successive wins.
After a tight first half at Blackpool, Huddersfield managed to take control of the game and assert themselves on the contest. Within the space of 14 minutes, the Terries were able to take the game away from their opponents and race into a 3-0 lead.
Koroma got that period up and running by producing a real moment of individual class to fire Huddersfield into the lead just three minutes after the break. The 22-year-old curled home an excellent effort from 25-yards out to break the deadlock in style.
It was the sort of contribution that shows just how crucial Koroma can be for Huddersfield now that he is fully over the injury issues that impacted him last term.

Huddersfield faced a major test of their credentials this season at Blackpool on Tuesday following their defeat at Stoke City. The fear might have been that it would bring an end to their good period of three successive wins and see them drop down the table.
However, at Blackpool, Huddersfield were able to show that they can bounce back from setbacks and they delivered a strong performance and ran out convincing winners.
The nature of the Terriers’ win at Blackpool was made all the more impressive by the fact that Blackpool had just ended Fulham’s unbeaten start to the season at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
Koroma has the sort of quality to unlock defences and give Huddersfield the advantage in tight matches and that is what he was able to show on Tuesday.
Keeping the 22-year-old fit is going to be crucial to the Terriers’ hopes of maintaining their strong start to the campaign. If he can keep fit for the full season then the attacker should be targeting double figures for goals.
