The verdict

Huddersfield faced a major test of their credentials this season at Blackpool on Tuesday following their defeat at Stoke City. The fear might have been that it would bring an end to their good period of three successive wins and see them drop down the table.

However, at Blackpool, Huddersfield were able to show that they can bounce back from setbacks and they delivered a strong performance and ran out convincing winners.

The nature of the Terriers’ win at Blackpool was made all the more impressive by the fact that Blackpool had just ended Fulham’s unbeaten start to the season at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

Koroma has the sort of quality to unlock defences and give Huddersfield the advantage in tight matches and that is what he was able to show on Tuesday.

Keeping the 22-year-old fit is going to be crucial to the Terriers’ hopes of maintaining their strong start to the campaign. If he can keep fit for the full season then the attacker should be targeting double figures for goals.
