The future of Josh King at AFC Bournemouth is likely to be a topic that dominates the headlines in the final few days of the transfer window.

Bournemouth have bid farewell to plenty of high-profile, first-team players this summer, with the likes of Nathan Ake, Aaron Ramsdale and Callum Wilson all departing the club.

King's future at the Vitality Stadium is also up in the air, with the Norway international being linked with a host of big Premier League sides.

QUIZ: Do you know the colour of these 40 EFL clubs’ home shirts?

With the transfer window closing on Friday afternoon, we take a look at the latest...

What do we know so far?

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United have had a £13million bid rejected for King, and are it is 'likely' that they will make a second bid for the forward before the end of the window.

talkSPORT have also claimed that Premier League high-flyers Everton have joined the race to sign King, as Carlo Ancelotti looks to add even more firepower to his attacking options.

Aston Villa have also been linked with King, and are reportedly set to make a concrete move for the player before Friday's deadline, as per Football Insider.

Is it likely to happen?

It seems inevitable that King will leave before the end of the transfer window, yes.

He has less than a year left on his contract, so Bournemouth will more than likely want to cash in on him this summer rather than potentially lose him for nothing next summer.

Where he will end up is the question everyone wants to know the answer to.

Everton already have some quality attacking options to choose from, but following Moise Kean's recent move to PSG, there is scope to bring in another attacking player.

Villa could also do with another attacking player despite already bringing in Ollie Watkins and Bertrand Traore, but I think West Ham is where he'll end up.

The Hammers need to add more firepower to their attack, and having already had a bid rejected for his services, I think they'll go in again and win the race for his signature.
