Charlton Athletic will have been delighted with their performance against West Brom in the recent 2-2 draw at the Hawthorns, with Lee Bowyer's men once again showing they are no pushovers against the Championship leaders to equalise late on and take a share of the spoils.

The result came at a time in which the Addicks are struggling with injuries at present, with the likes of striker Lyle Taylor and midfielder Jonny Williams both sidelined through their respective injuries.

Taylor of course has been sidelined since mid-September with a knee injury, which has kept him out ever since, thus preventing the former AFC Wimbledon man from adding to the five goals and one assist that he has registered so far this season.

Whereas Williams, who has been ruled out for a lengthy spell, has also been in equally impressive form for the south London club, with the ex-Crystal Palace playmaker having racked up five assists in his first 12 appearances for the Addicks since re-signing for the club during the summer months.

Both players were clearly in high spirits today as Williams posted a video in which he poked fun at Taylor during a training session, which he posted on his official Instagram account:

In the video, Williams can be heard mocking Taylor over his recent new car purchase - a bright yellow Audi R8, with the Welsman claiming the Taylor had changed.

The Verdict

I personally think this is something that will please the Charlton faithful greatly, as it is a clip which shows that both players are keeping their spirits despite their respective injury setbacks which have curtailed their good form this season.

With Taylor said to have been stepping up his recovery in recent days, Addicks fans will be hopeful of seeing their talismanic forward return to action sooner rather than later, with the south London club no doubt seeking to continue their brilliant start to this Championship campaign since promotion last season.

Williams may be a long way from returning, however the onus will once again fall on the shoulders of Erhun Oztumer to provide the creative spark in order to fill the considerable void which will be left by the Welshman's enforced absence from the squad.
