Charlton Athletic welcome Cambridge United to The Valley on Saturday and will be hoping to achieve back-to-back wins.

The Addicks got over disappointing results at Morecambe and Shrewsbury with a comfortable 2-0 win over Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening. Jayden Stockley and Alex Gilbey scored the goals in a very complete performance that brought more calls for Johnnie Jackson to get the job on a permanent basis.

Mark Bonner's men will be full of confidence after their surprise 5-0 victory at Cheltenham Town in midweek, the Us have exceeded expectations this season in the third tier and look very likely to maintain League One status for another campaign.

We are predicting just the one change to the Charlton side that beat the Tractor Boys...

Jonathan Leko replaces Diallang Jaiyesimi at right wing back, the former has recently returned from injury and replaced the latter on 69 minutes last time out. Jaiyesimi struggles physically to hack the busy schedule and only came into the starting XI due to Leko's injury at the end of October.

After getting burnt in the loss at Shrewsbury, Jackson might be tempted to rotate the team a little bit more, which could potentially see opportunities for Albie Morgan, Charlie Kirk or Josh Davison, with Elliot Lee or Conor Washington candidates to be rested.

However, Jackson is clearly looking for continuity in selection and will most likely stick with a very similar side that were so impressive in midweek. Even after Cambridge's awesome result in midweek, anything but three points will be seen as a disappointing result as the Addicks look to keep their play-off hopes alive.
