Following Jon Dahl Tomasson’s arrival at Blackburn Rovers, the new manager has been trying to create a team that he can lead up the table this season.
The club announced their second summer signing as Tyler Morton who joins on a season long loan deal from Liverpool.
Despite being just 19-years-old, the midfielder has already nine first team appearances for Klopp’s side including two in the Premier League.
Therefore, it’s clear to see he’s a highly rated youngster with plenty of potential and Rovers will be hoping they can help him develop even further.
Discussing what the new signing adds to the team, Tomasson told the Lancashire Telegraph: “He has quality on the ball, he wants the ball and is equally comfortable playing in defensive midfield or central midfield positions.
“He’s good at reading triggers, he knows when to press and when not to press, he sees the right passes and takes very few touches. He sees the game and is a clever player.
“If a manager like Klopp, an excellent manager who’s one of the best in the world, trusts someone at Tyler’s age, that’s really positive.”
