Following Jon Dahl Tomasson's arrival at Blackburn Rovers, the new manager has been trying to create a team that he can lead up the table this season.

The club announced their second summer signing as Tyler Morton who joins on a season long loan deal from Liverpool.

Despite being just 19-years-old, the midfielder has already nine first team appearances for Klopp's side including two in the Premier League.

Therefore, it's clear to see he's a highly rated youngster with plenty of potential and Rovers will be hoping they can help him develop even further.

Discussing what the new signing adds to the team, Tomasson told the Lancashire Telegraph: "He has quality on the ball, he wants the ball and is equally comfortable playing in defensive midfield or central midfield positions.

"He's good at reading triggers, he knows when to press and when not to press, he sees the right passes and takes very few touches. He sees the game and is a clever player.

"If a manager like Klopp, an excellent manager who's one of the best in the world, trusts someone at Tyler's age, that's really positive."

The Verdict:

This is a great signing for Blackburn ahead of the new season.

It's clear that Morton is a young player with bags and potential and this is a move that allows him to get some regular football under his belt alongside some first team experience whilst also benefiting Rovers.

It may only be the club's second signing of the summer but he looks like he type of player who could be influential in Blackburn's season this year.

It's clear that Tomasson has done his research on the player and looking at his attributes, the 19-year-old will be expected to contribute large amounts on the pitch and help raise the level of the rest of the team.
