‘Joke of a club and an owner’ – Plenty of Notts County fans react to latest big news

After coming close to winning a shock promotion last season under the guidance of Kevin Nolan, this season has been slightly more disappointing for the Magpies. 

Nolan was sacked in September with the club rock-bottom of the Championship. A decision that many fans felt was extremely harsh.

His replacement was someone in a similar position to Nolan in that he had not long been in the management game and that was Crawley Town boss Harry Kewell.

Kewell had done well with the Red Devils in the previous campaign and fit the bill of the County board as a young and ambitious board.

But on Tuesday it was announced that the former Liverpool and Leeds United winger had also been sacked having won just three matches since taking over.

He took the club out of the relegation zone, but after reaching the playoffs last season a much greater improvement was expected with the current crop of players.

It was a shock decision and one that brought a variety of reactions from the fans:
