Leeds United have had some excellent news today in the form of Marcelo Bielsa's contract being extended for next season.

The Whites were the team to beat for much of this season under the Argentine but after missing out on promotion some felt as though he might well leave the club.

He is staying, though, and the fans and the players are bound to be delighted about exactly that.

On the flipside of the good news, though, is the perhaps disappointment for Liam Cooper that he has again been overlooked by Scotland for games this summer.

Steve Clarke is in charge but has not called him up, leaving many Leeds supporters and others to debate the decision.

It gives Cooper a rest but it is also a bit of a shock to not see him called up as he had a good season.
