‘Joke’, ‘Absolute liability’ – These Birmingham fans slam individual for role in Fulham defeat

Birmingham City failed to close the gap on the top six as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Fulham yesterday.

Whilst the Cottagers have some fine attacking individuals in their side, the manner of the defeat will have frustrated Blues, with keeper Lee Camp once again not convincing.

The stopper failed to catch a pretty routine cross and even though the hosts seemed to have justifiable complaints that Aleksandar Mitrovic barged into Marc Roberts before tapping in, the reality is that it was a goalkeeping error that cost them.

Unfortunately for Camp, it wasn’t the first time the ex-Nottingham Forest keeper has cost Blues and whilst it should be said that he made a fine save to deny Aboubakar Kamara late on, the damage was done.
