Fulham will go into the Championship play-off final this weekend as out right favourites to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s youthful side have impressed throughout the entire campaign, and were unlucky to miss out on a chance at automatic promotion on the final day of the regular season.

Facing a much more experienced Aston Villa side, the Fulham players might just fancy their chances against the aging opposition.

Jokanovic won’t be underestimating the Claret and Blue Army however, as both sides have come away victors in the Championship regular season.

The squad that the Serbian manager choices to pick on the day could be the difference between promotion and failure.

So, here is a look at how Jokanovic must employ his starting lineup to get Fulham promoted this weekend.

The 27-year-old Norwegian international will be up against a strong midfield core of Aston Villa, which boasts the likes of highly rated Jack Grealish. But, Johansen will be looking to overcome that and come out victorious this weekend.

Tom Cairney is not only regarded as one of the beset central midfielders at the club, but also in the Championship as a whole this season.

The 27-year-old Scotsman has played 37 times in all competitions for Fulham throughout the campaign, and will be hoping to get his hands on the play-off trophy come the end of the final.

With 16 goals to his name in the league this season, there is no way that the young winger doesn’t start for Fulham at Wembley, in what will easily be the biggest game of Sessegnon’s career to date.

The 23-year-old joined Fulham on loan from Newcastle United in February, and has racked up an impressive 12 goals in 17 starts for the Cottagers.

Already being linked with a permanent move to Fulham, Mitrovic will be hoping to give the Fulham faithful one last thing to cheer about before the summer.
