The race is on at West Brom to find a manager to replace Darren Moore following his sacking last weekend.
Currently, first-team coach Jimmy Shan has taken over on a caretaker basis but the board are considering their options with two prominent candidates on the shortlist being current Preston boss Alex Neil and free-agent Slavisa Jokanovic.
So who would best suit the Baggies, Neil or Jokanovic?
“Neil for me.
“Jokanovic would almost guarantee promotion in the next two seasons but the Baggies need some long term stability now.
“At 37, Neil could be in charge for a long time and would be perfect to bring through the talented youth at the club.”
“Neil could do a job, but the expectation there is instant.
“That’s why I think Jokanovic.
“Neil is a slow burner, a man still learning the ropes.
“He’ll be a Premier League boss one day.”
“None of the above.
“I don’t think either man is right for the job.
“If I had to be pushed into a decision, I would probably say Neil as he is tactically more assured in this division.
“But Jokanovic’s style of play is pleasing to watch.
“It depends what West Brom are after in this next appointment.”
