The future of manager Martin O'Neill at Nottingham Forest looks to be on shaky ground, if reports coming out of Greece are to be believed, with Forest's Greek owners alleged to be considering a change, according to Greek newspaper, Sportime.

There has been little sign of improvement at the City Ground under O'Neill and Forest remain eight points off the play-offs in 11th spot, with only four matches of the season remaining.

So who would be the ideal Martin O'Neill replacement if he is sacked by the Forest board?

We discuss........

Gary Hutchinson

“Danny and Nicky Cowley - they'd do well at Forest.

“They’re living close by, they’ve won three trophies in three seasons with Lincoln and they represent the up and coming in the Football League.

“However, with such instability and uncertainty, I’m not sure they’d go there.

“In that case, Jokanovic. He’s not adverse to a challenge like that.”

Jacob Potter

"'Jokanovic.

"He’s proven at Championship level and has taken Fulham up to the Premier League recently.

"He’ll certainly feel as though he can do the same with Forest if he was to take charge of the Reds in the summer."

Louie Chandler

"Somebody who will get the most out of their attacking talents.

"It is tricky to pin point a specific manager but perhaps David Wagner or Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel.

"The latter has shown that he can get a group of talented attackers ticking without indulging in the transfer window too much and that is what Forest need."
