Lee Johnson has admitted ‘a lot of things have to go on if a deal is to be reached for Liverpool’s 19 year old Spanish winger Sergi Canos, report the Bristol Post.

It is understood that a bid of £2.5m has been accepted by the Reds, though Norwich City are also said to be interested in bringing him over to East Anglia following their relegation.

Canos is a former Barcelona youth player who has represented Spain at under 16, 17 and 19 levels.

He has previous in the second tier, having spent last season on loan at Brentford where he made 39 appearances scoring a very respectable 7 goals in the process.

Jurgen Klopp handed him a first-team appearance at the end of the season just past, though his time playing under the German could be a brief one.

The Canaries are seen to be pursing Canos as a replacement for Nathan Redmond who left for Southampton earlier this summer.

It is believed to be a straight shootout between these two clubs as to who can secure his signature.

Where will Canos be playing his football next season then, Norwich or Bristol? Would he be a good addition to both teams? Let us know what you think!!
