In his press conference ahead of Friday night's Sky Bet Championship clash with Huddersfield Town, Lee Johnson gave fans an update on the injuries of three first team members, as reported by Bristol City's official Twitter account.

Johnson revealed that Bristol City had been dealt with a blow as striker Milan Djuric will face between three and six weeks out with a double hernia injury.

This news means that Bristol City have pulled the plug on Gustav Engvall's potential loan exit.

The Swedish striker was expected to return to his homeland to join Djurgarden on loan but he has returned from Sweden now to cover for the injured Djuric.

However, there was better news in terms of defensive injury updates.

Johnson confirmed some positive news about right back duo Adam Matthews and Mark Little.

Matthews - who is on loan from Sunderland - is "fit and fine" whilst Little has returned to training ahead of a potential return.

Johnson also added that he could use Korey Smith as a right back if needed.

Bristol City fans - what do you make of this? Are you disappointed by the extent of Djuric's injury? Can Engvall cover sufficiently? Are you pleased by the return of Matthews and Little? Let us know in the comments below...
