Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley has taken to Instagram to react to his team-mate Brice Samba's latest display for the club.

Samba managed to deliver an impressive performance against Luton Town last night as Forest sealed a point at the City Ground.

Following a relatively tame first-half, the match burst into life after the break as Lyle Taylor forced James Shea into making a save after being teed up by Lolley.

Jack Colback was then shown a second yellow card for an incident with Tom Lockyer which resulted in Luton being awarded a penalty.

Elijah Adebayo would have been hoping to open the scoring from the spot.

However, Samba produced a fantastic stop to divert Adebayo's penalty over the bar.

The Forest shot-stopper then ensured that the game would end in a draw by making another eye-catching save in stoppage-time.

The Reds are now only five points adrift of the play-off places and will be looking to extend their current unbeaten run in the Championship to six games when they face West Bromwich Albion on Friday.

Ahead of this clash, Lolley has taken to Instagram to reflect on Samba's latest performance for the club.

Using the social media platform's Stories function, Lolley shared a picture of the keeper with the caption: "Super Samba."

The Verdict

It is hardly a surprise that Lolley has reacted in a positive manner to Samba's latest display as the keeper was superb during yesterday's fixture.

The keeper managed to record a WhoScored match rating of 8.14 at the City Ground as he claimed his fourth clean-sheet of the season.

Samba will now be tasked with preventing the likes of Karlan Grant and Callum Robinson from scoring on Friday as Forest head to The Hawthorns to face West Brom.

By securing a victory in this particular fixture, Forest may be able to use the momentum gained from this result to push on in the Championship over the Christmas period under the guidance of manager Steve Cooper.
