Pontus Jansson has revealed that he and his Leeds United teammates feel this will be their year as they look to secure promotion to the Premier League.

The Swede has been at Elland Road for the past two seasons when the side have fallen apart towards the end of the season and ultimately failed to even make the top six.

However, the centre-back told journalist Phil Hay that the current group is better suited to sustaining their promotion push and outlined the confidence the current group have.

"Jansson says the players here believe it's "our year" but are aware of how far away they still are from the finishing line. He thinks Leeds are far better equipped to see the season out than they were in the past two years."

The Whites are currently second in the Championship and have been a joy to watch at times this season under Marcelo Bielsa.

Yet, a run of two wins in seven games has got many fans wondering if the club are going to fall away once again when it really matters.

Here's how some reacted to Jansson's comments...
