West Bromwich Alboin have been handed a double boost during the international break.

Both Kieran Gibbs and Tosin Adarabioyo have returned to training ahead of the final eight games of the campaign.

The Baggies are fourth in the table and are well-placed to finish in the play-offs but have the slimmest of hopes of mounting a charge to end in the top-two places.

West Brom’s official site confirmed the pair were back on the grass and training ahead of next Friday's home clash with Birmingham City.

It is a boost to caretaker manager Jimmy Shan who will oversee the derby against Garry Monk’s outfit.

Gibbs and Adarabioyo missed the victories over Swansea City and Brentford, but they will be in with a chance of making their comeback this time next week.

The verdict

This is a massive boost for West Brom heading into what looks to be a play-off campaign at the end of the current season.

A finish in the top-two is a bit beyond them, but they will need players fit and available ahead of their potential semi-final bouts come May.

Finding form now is vital to go into the post-season as the team to beat.

And the pair's return will go a long way into aiding a return to form.
