Goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler has joined Shrewsbury Town on a two-year deal, BBC writes.
25-year-old Swiss international left Middlesbrough last month after spending two years at the Riverside. He is the second goalkeeper to sign for the New Meadow club, following the arrival of Mark Halstead last week.
“I really look forward to meeting Mark at the start of the season, then we see what happens,” said Leutwiler. “Once I spoke to the manager and looked around the stadium I had no hesitation making the decision.
“I’m a very positive goalkeeper. I always try to give my 200 per cent on the pitch.”
Shrewsbury manager Micky Mellon has already brought seven new players in.
