It's advantage Aston Villa as they head into the second-leg of their play-off semi-final clash with West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night.

It follows a pulsating match at Villa Park on Saturday lunch-time that saw the home side come from behind to win 2-1 amid plenty of controversy.

Dwight Gayle opened the scoring for the visitors just 16 minutes into the first half, finishing emphatically after a mistake from Glenn Whelan slipped him through.

But Dean Smith's side roared back in the second half, pinning their local rivals in their own half and it was a screamer from Conor Hourihane that dragged them level with 15 minutes remaining.

Tammy Abraham fired them in front just four minutes later, tucking away a penalty after Jack Grealish had been brought down in the box.

It was a task that was still salvageable for the Baggies, but then Gayle was shown a second yellow card after he slid in late on Jed Steer in the Villa goal.

So, Jimmy Shan's side have it all to do, but how will they line-up?

Here's what we expect....

Shan will not be likely to change a side that largely played very well on Saturday.

It will all remain the same, therefore, across the backline and midfield with Craig Dawson and Matt Phillips both expected to be fit.

After doing an admirable job against Jack Grealish for much of the match on Saturday, Stefan Johansen is likely to keep his starting spot.

In attack, expect Jay Rodriguez to move into a more central role with Jacob Murphy coming in to replace the suspended Dwight Gayle.
